W3C validation
W3C validation is the process of checking your website coding against a formal industry standard, such as the standard guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) for HTML and XML web documents.
W3C validation serves a similar purpose to spell checking and proof reading for grammar, but is more precise and reliable
than any of those processes.
All our websites are built with the option to comply with the W3C validation standards.
Accessibility
In order for a website to be deemed web accessibility compliant it must cater for everyone including people who may struggle to use standard websites for specific reasons i.e. people with
limited eye sight and the hard of hearing. Accessibility compliance involves a more focused approach to the design and function of your website as every aspect must be able to cover all of the mentioned disabilities.
For example a page with lots of text content may be a struggle for someone with
limited sight to read so the answer would possibly be a screen reader.
Screen readers give the viewer the ability to take in the text content of the page that
they are viewing in audio format, sounds great but this is not a complete solution as someone with limited hearing would still have problems.
Scalable text is another option for people with limited sight but is also useful
alternative for people with limited hearing.
Triad Media have the ability to make your website accessibility compliant but do not have a legal requirement to do so as this option is solely reliant on the website owner to opt in to comply with the web accessibility laws.
